Core programming skills across all 12 languages. The general path for building strong fundamentals everywhere, not tied to one job title.
01 · Browse paths
Roles are outcome-first paths: ordered tracks that take you from basics toward a goal. When you sign up, FlashCode asks “What do you want to become?” and sets up your Learn hub around that choice.
Core programming skills across all 12 languages. The general path for building strong fundamentals everywhere, not tied to one job title.
APIs, databases, and server-side logic with Java & Spring Boot.
Interactive UIs with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend patterns.
Data analysis, machine learning, and deep learning with Python.
Native Android development with Java.
Application, system, and data security with Java.
Data pipelines and enterprise data systems with Java.
Data structures, algorithms, and coding interview practice across Python, JavaScript, Java, and TypeScript.
Every role is built from curated tracks of real code snippets. You study by typing code from memory, the same way you'll use it in an editor, and spaced repetition brings each snippet back right before you forget it.
FlashCode offers 12 full language paths, each starting with free Programming Fundamentals and expanding into specialization tracks where available.
Fundamentals, automation, backend web, DSA, data science/ML, deep learning
Fundamentals, frontend dev, backend (Node.js), DSA, full stack, interactive graphics

Browse any language on its own, or follow a role that pulls the right tracks together for you. Python, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, and Swift include the deepest specialization catalogs today; the remaining languages offer solid fundamentals with more tracks on the way.
Also supported in the app: create and study your own snippets in C#, SQL, HTML/CSS, Shell, and more, plus a built-in Playground for freeform practice.
02 · Content model
Each language and role path is made of tracks: curated sequences of concepts. Every concept is a snippet: a small piece of real code you reconstruct from memory. No multiple choice. No copy-paste. You type it, we grade it line by line, and adaptive scheduling (FSRS) decides when it comes back.
From language fundamentals to backend, frontend, ML, Android, security, and interview DSA.
Scaffolded line-by-line practice for first exposure; full recall when you're ready to commit it to memory.
Every language includes a free Programming Fundamentals track. Specialized tracks unlock with Pro.
03 · FAQ
A language path teaches one stack top to bottom. A role path bundles the tracks that matter for an outcome, like becoming a backend developer or preparing for interviews, even if that spans multiple languages.
No. You can browse all languages and tracks directly. Roles just give you a clear default path when you know what you want to become.
Programming Fundamentals tracks are free in every language. Specialized tracks (backend, frontend, ML, DSA, Android, security, and more) require Pro.
